Vintage Hand Painted Purple Cottage Violets Sugar and Creamer Set
A beautiful hand painted sugar bowl and creamer set. The oval open sugar bowl has large loop handles and scalloped rims. Done in generous gold gilt trim. The inside is awash with iridescence. The outside is artfully hand painted with cottage purple violets of different shades. Has for small gold gilt feet. The creamer is a perfect match with a spout and tall handle. Simply lovely!
The sugar bowl measures 5 inches at its longest and is approximately 3 3/4 inches wide. Stands 2 3/4 inches tall. The creamer is 4 1/2 by 3 3/8 inches. Stands 3 1/4 inches at the tallest point of the handle. The creamer is signed by the artist, E. Robbins. Excellent condition.
