Vintage Aynsley Orchard Gold Teacup and Saucer Signed D. Jones

This extraordinary vintage Aynsley "Orchard Gold" teacup and saucer is a true collector's piece, hand-painted and signed by the celebrated Aynsley artist Doris Jones — signed on both the cup and the saucer. The exterior showcases a breathtaking arrangement of richly painted orchard fruits — peaches, plums, blackberries, and grapes — set against a warm golden ground with lush foliage. The interior of the cup is finished in a stunning mirror-like 22k gold coating, a hallmark of Aynsley's finest craftsmanship. Dated to the 1950s postwar boom. Backstamp 746.

Overall excellent condition with one honest note: due to years of gentle cleaning and display, there are visible fine surface hairline scratches and swirling on the mirror-finish gold interior of the cup and the center well of the saucer. The gold gilding appears to be 100% intact with excellent coverage on the rims, foot, handle, and interior — no missing gold or base porcelain showing through, just honest vintage age wear.
