Antique Rockford Longfellow Silver Plate Beef Serving Fork
A wonderful large serving fork. Lovely shape to the fork itself with decorative piercing. The handle is simple with a small garland of draped flowers. The back is also pretty and has a lovely ornate monogram "F".
This antique serving fork was intended for serving beef, but it's nice large size makes it wonderful for serving anything today!
Marked "Rockford S.P. Co." . Measures 9 inches long. The pattern is known by two names, "Longfellow" and "Sovereign". This pattern was also produced by Wm. A. Rogers under the same pattern names. Dates to 1919.
Very good condition with just a few small spots of silver loss. It's simply lovely!
