Tom stands tall with his tail feathers fanned wide while Hen leans forward in a classic feeding pose. Hand-painted with deep charcoal feathers, vibrant wattles, and rich autumnal green bases.
Made in Japan, these have all the hallmarks of authentic mid-century craftsmanship with an unglazed foot ring from the original kiln firing and a gentle, barely-there crazing in the glaze. One shaker has its original cork stopper; the other is missing its plug. Excellent condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
