Vintage Royal Patrician Althaea Officinalis and Mentha Piperila Herb Teapot

The Pink Rose Cottage


A very pretty vintage floral teapot. One side of the teapot features Althaea Officinalis commonly known as marshmallow. The other side has Mentha Piperila, also known as peppermint. This depiction shows the pretty blossoms. Both plants are quite pretty and have healing properties. 

The spout and the lid have a daisy. The lid also has althaea and blueberries. Delicate swirl to the china. Trimmed in green.

This vintage teapot measures 5 inches tall to the finial on the lid. 7 1/4 inches from spout to handle. Marked, "Fine Bone China, Royal Patrician, Staffordshire England." Excellent condition.
